Position: Sr. Performance Marketing Manager, Growth
Placement: Jakarta

At BASE, we are committed to building an innovative URL and IRL experiences that our consumers love within the beauty and wellness space. We are looking for a data-driven professional to join our team as Senior Manager of Performance Marketing. The ideal candidate can create a set of successful digital paid channel strategies in partnership with third-party products such as Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads, and Google Ads.

This role is expected to execute well-structured tests, roll out successful paid ads campaigns, and optimize performance over time against performance goals. This candidate will be able to partner with a variety of cross-functional teams with ease balancing profitability and desirability.

To be successful in this role you will need to both see the big picture and execute rapidly. You will have a strong understanding of both the art and science of digital marketing and work closely with our brand and creative teams. You are inclusive, courageous, discerning, curious, and devoted to the customer. This role will be reporting directly to the CEO and will lead our performance marketing efforts to drive sustainable and efficient growth for BASE.

BASE implements Working-From-Home (WFH) arrangement due to the pandemic.

Three Month Expectations
• Manage monthly digital paid ads budget and targets through bottom-up forecasting while executing against e-commerce plans and objectives.
• Lead paid ads channel strategy across new product launches and evergreen campaigns achieving revenue goals.
• Partners closely with our third-party partners and internal brand teams.
• Provides clear briefs rooted in historical learnings, current trends, and/or clear testing goals and OKRs.
• Present clear and concise recaps based on performance and benchmarks across business meetings.
• Exhibits a strong eye on the market for emerging channels and trends.

Six Month Expectations
• Build monthly, quarterly, and yearly digital paid ads plans to pair to budget and growth goals.
• Develops a cohesive strategy across channels to drive the most efficient CAC and ROAS without sacrificing the brand or long-term growth.
• Continually improve upon briefing templates to ensure timely, brand-right, and effective creation of assets and copy.
• Develop a long-term testing roadmap in partnership with internal stakeholders.
• Bring deep channel expertise and insights driving strategy of product mix across channels to drive desired AOV, revenue, CAC, and ROAS goals.

Requirements
• Hold Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
• Mandatory, proficiency in proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and oral (minimum IELTS score 6.0 or above)
• 3+ years of progressive responsibility including experience in performance or digital marketing with proven record and high level of proficiency working with Paid Ads Platforms, such as Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, and Google Ads
• Past working experience at a Performance or Digital Marketing agency and/or Technology startup is a major plus
• Deep analytical abilities, especially with respect to experimental design and analyst
• You will be comfortable working with complex challenges, appreciate white space and autonomy, and understand the value of a rapid test and learn approach
• You will be savvy about how to leverage large data sets to create sophisticated advertising programs
• You’ll have a forward mindset, and be equally comfortable working with marketers, tech product managers, engineers, finance managers, brand managers, and teams ranging from creative to analytics
